Every Ever After Candle is hand-poured with care to give you the cleanest, most luxurious burn possible.
Follow these simple tips to get the best experience every time you light your candle.

🕯️ Before Lighting

  • Trim your wick to ⅛"–¼" before each burn.
    This keeps the flame controlled and prevents soot buildup.

  • Remove any debris (wick trimmings, dust, matches) from the wax surface.

  • Set your candle on a heat-safe surface away from drafts, curtains, and pets.

🔥 While Burning

  • Let it burn to the edges.
    Allow the wax to melt across the entire top layer during the first few burns to prevent tunneling and ensure an even, full melt pool.

  • Limit each burn to 3–4 hours.
    This keeps the candle from overheating and extends its life.

  • Never leave a candle unattended.
    Always stay nearby and keep away from children and pets.

🌿 After Extinguishing

  • Gently blow out or use a snuffer to extinguish the flame — avoid water or the candle lid.

  • Let the candle cool completely before moving it.

  • If soot appears, trim your wick slightly shorter next time before relighting.

💜 When Your Candle Is Done

  • Stop burning when about ½" of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

  • Once cooled, clean out your jar and repurpose it — our matte black and glass vessels make beautiful planters, pen holders, or keepsake jars.

  • Recycle or reuse whenever possible to help reduce waste.

  • Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • For wooden-wick candles: if the flame becomes too low, blow it out, trim off the charred wood, and relight.
